Family and Owner Supervision
Many people tend to think that a good roof job is about good materials and specifications. This, of course, is only half the equation. Equally important is this question: Whose hands are working with these materials? With Capps and Huff, David and Mark Capps, co-owners, run the show on your roof. They work on the roof all day making sure that the best roofing practices are implemented and that your property is protected at the same time. Blake Capps (not a commissioned salesman) gives you an honest, straight-forward estimate and coordinates permits, material deliveries and schedules.
Timeliness
We get your roof done quickly. This is particularly important in the reroof context when you are living below. You don't want a small outfit that will make you endure the noise and put you at risk for water damage for a whole week. Most of our tear-offs are done in one day with a large tear-off crew, and we have our new application crew installing your new roof the next morning (a job that usually takes just one or two more days).
Equipped
We have all the equipment and manpower needed to complete your reroof in a timely fashion. We use dump trucks, not dumpsters, so that your driveway is not blocked for several days. We also place tarps over your shrubbery to protect it from roof debris. We run a large magnet through your yard to pick up left-over nails.
Unique Contracts
We do not ask for deposits on our jobs. This is because we are financially sound. Our customers are very impressed with this. Additionally, we do not have "open-ended" provisions that result in extra charges for contingencies. (Most roofers charge extra for rotten wood on a "time and materials" basis.) With Capps and Huff, the price is the price.
